On Tuesday, the AFSI group focused on the Shomron (Samaria) region of Israel. They made a stop in Amona, a community that has constantly been under threat of expulsion. They met with community leaders who briefed the group on their plans to continue resisting the government forces aligned against them.

The June 2016 AFSI Chizuk Mission Continues

The group started the morning with a visit to Akko, that beautiful and historic city on the Mediterranean that houses the infamous Akko prison where many Jewish heroes were hung by the British during the battle for Palestine. AFSI's guiding light, Ze'ev Jabotinsky, also was imprisoned there. In Akko they met Aharon Pulver, head of the Israel Independence Fund, who accompanied the group on a tour of the underground city of Akko, with a special guide. read more...
