IDF troops found a homemade rocket in an open area on the edge of Tulkarem in Samaria; Border Police sappers disarmed it on-site and transferred it for forensic analysis. The military says it is treating the incident “with severity,” and forces continue to sweep the area.
This comes days after Israeli forces busted a terror cell around Ramallah that was building launch-ready rockets; troops seized additional crude munitions, with officials noting some lacked warheads. Local leaders warned the Tulkarem find signals a “serious escalation” and a potential danger to communities in Israel’s center.
Thankfully the IDF neutralized the rocket, however this new incident illustrates the continued danger in supporting the delusional two-state solution.
