Who Knew What and When? Netanyahu Demands Answers

The media watchdog Honest Reporting published an investigative report late on Wednesday showing that journalists from leading news outlets, including The New York Times, AP, Reuters, and CNN, joined Hamas terrorist from the Gaza Strip on October 7 to document the horrific events with their cameras.

Their report raised weighty ethical questions in the investigation regarding the presence of those photographers alongside Hamas terrorists.

Among other things, it begs the question of whether the photographers were aware in advance of the intent to carry out the massacre and how they arrived on the scene so quickly. Did Hamas allow them to be there? Did these news reporters have approval to enter Israel alongside the terrorists? Did the photographers inform their editors that they were accompanying the terrorists as they carried out the attacks against the Israelis?

While the Associated Press and Reuters have denied any advance knowledge of what was to become the worst terrorist attack in Israel’s history, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s administration is demanding answers from these prominent news agencies. Just look at the photo that accompanies this article. A great photo op for the journalists, right? This photo and the brutally revealing information from Honest Reporting leaves us highly suspicious and not in full agreement with the current train of thought on what caused the October 7 massacre that “just like 1973, Israel missed this one.”

“I Can Go with Any Ambulance”

The IDF and the Israel Security Agency have released evidence that shows how the Hamas terrorist organization exploits ambulances, hospitals, clinics, mosques, and schools for terrorist purposes.

The evidence also shows how Hamas uses ambulances to transfer weapons and terrorist operatives in the Gaza Strip.

In a recorded phone conversation revealed by the Military Intelligence Directorate, a Hamas terrorist operative can be heard telling a Gazan resident: “I can leave with any ambulance I want.”

“This is another example of how the Hamas terrorist organization exploits civilian infrastructure and uses civilians as human shields,” the IDF stated.

As Israel exposes more truth to combat the propaganda Hamas disseminates, it’s up to Israel now to learn how to win the information war. This is one war Israel has yet to win. Exposés like this recording that get reported on in major media sources is simply not enough to mass communicate the truth about Israel to the world. Yes, Israel is fighting a war on the ground right now but it must take action and form a new division to fight back against Arab propaganda.

Israel Gantz Issues Warning as Tensions Erupt

A masked individual armed with a knife attempted to enter the town of Ofra in northern Samaria on Tuesday. The suspect fled after being fired on by Israeli security forces.

Tensions in Judea and Samaria are extremely high since the Oct. 7 massacre. Binyamin Regional Council head Israel Gantz issued a stark warning: ‘No one dares to approach our settlements. Whoever does this will be shot with the aim of killing.’

Though Israel is fighting a major war right now, there is still an ongoing war being fought for the daily safety and security of the residents in Judea and Samaria.

Will the Knesset Protect the PA From Collapsing?

The political and security cabinet on Thursday night announced it will deduct from the taxes and customs that Israel collects on behalf of the Palestinian Authority all the funds that would have been transferred from Ramallah to Gaza – in addition to deducting the funds the PA is paying as monthly salaries to terrorists behind bars and their families.

On Tuesday, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich sent a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stating that since the PA had violated the 1994 Oslo Accords in every conceivable way, he intends to cut off the entire amount that Israel collects on its behalf.

Both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and DM Yoav Gallant worked hard to push and cajole the ministers into supporting the continued funding for Ramallah, albeit somewhat curtailed. Both argued that the PA must be protected from collapsing.

Smotrich, as Finance Minister, intends to call for the establishment of security zones to protect Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria from the threat of Palestinian terrorism.

In a letter sent to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Sunday, the head of the Religious Zionism Party, who is also a minister in the Defense Ministry, demanded that they convene an urgent session of the Political-Security Cabinet to discuss the “continuing insecurity” of the residents of Judea and Samaria.

Despite the October 7 massacre and the war in progress, the issues of security and sovereignty, as we’ve been reporting on regularly, must not be overlooked or put on the back burner until the war is over, With the plethora of terrorist attacks there, the Knesset will still pay the PA. This perpetuates the perfect storm for terrorist attacks carried out by the PA against Israel to continue. What are we missing here?

It’s Time to Listen to Jabotinsky and Build the Iron Wall

Exactly 100 years ago, in his seminal essay, “The Iron Wall,” revisionist leader Ze’ev Jabotinsky wrote these words: “As long as the Arabs feel that there is the least hope of getting rid of us, they will refuse to give up this hope in return for either kind words or for bread and butter.”

Sadly, Israelis witnessed this on many occasions over the last century and in ferocious and bestial form on October 7.

What Israelis have to understand is that the key to this conflict is hope. For too long, Israelis have scoffed at the incitement emanating from Hamas and Fatah, which not only call for the elimination of the Jewish state, but constantly drum into their followers that it is possible and will happen soon.

As Jabotinsky ended the “Iron Wall” essay, “the only way to reach an agreement in the future is to abandon all idea of seeking an agreement at present.”

Israel must send a message that it is here to stay, period.

This Week Today Current Events from Israel – by Ben Packer

Undoubtedly most folks are constantly checking new sources during these very contentious times. Whether that is a good idea or not, this week we will make an even greater attempt to keep things brief and to the point, and of course as always, very accurate.

In the spirit of accuracy, the number of deaths of Israelis from the terror attacks of Simchas Torah has reportedly surprisingly gone down and it’s now estimated that 1200 were killed and 200 more bodies are actually those of killed terrorists. The current estimate for the number of terrorists who participated in the pogrom is now 3000, 1000 of which were killed in and around the Jewish communities. 243 hostages are believed to be still held by Hamas and other terror organizations in the Gaza Strip.

UN Disregards Israeli Information

According to what the Israeli military says is an intercepted call between Hamas commanders in the Gaza Strip, the terror group is stealing fuel from hospitals in the enclave.

The three-way phone call, a recording of which the Israel Defense Forces released on Wednesday, is between the deputy commander of Hamas’s Western Jabalia Battalion, a Hamas commander (identified as “Gaza resident”) and the director of the Indonesia Hospital in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, Dr. Atef Al Kahlout.

As usual, the United Nations refuses to face facts on the ground. In a statement, Mr. Guterres said depriving Gaza’s people of basic supplies was only “compounding the human tragedy” of the conflict, calling for unimpeded humanitarian access “to be granted consistently, safely and to scale in order to meet the urgent needs created by the catastrophe unfolding in Gaza.”

“Never Again” is Happening Now

Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Gilad Erdan spoke Monday to the United Nations Security Council, urging the international community to act on the promise of, “Never Again.”

“The Nazis sought a Judenrein – Jew-free – Europe, just as Hamas seeks a Judenrein Israel. Hamas, are modern day Nazis – from their appalling inhuman violence to identical genocidal ideologies. Hamas is not seeking a ‘solution’ to the conflict. They are not interested in dialogue. The only solution Hamas is interested in is the Final Solution – the annihilation of the Jewish people.”

The Rise of Hamas

When developers broke ground on a horse farm across a narrow, sun-dappled street from Kezban’s house about seven years ago, she had just got engaged.

Two years passed and Kezban got married, became pregnant and gave birth, shortly before the shiny complex was unveiled. New neighbours began moving into the gated community in Bursa, Turkey’s fourth-largest city.

But the US government believes this compound, Anda Park Balat 2, to be a high-value asset in a secret global investment portfolio that could be worth as much as $1 billion run by Hamas, potentially making it one of the richest terrorist groups in the world.

On Friday, the US Treasury announced its third round of sanctions since 2022 targeting Trend GYO, the Turkey-based developer of Anda Park Balat 2 and several other projects, for being part of Hamas’s international financing network.

Hamas has built a global operation to funnel funds to support its activities – using shell companies, physically moving cash, transferring via cryptocurrencies, syphoning support from charities, and receiving infusions from friendly nations such as Iran, which supports several militant groups in countries that border Israel.

Israel at War Update

As Israel approaches its fourth week of war, which has been dubbed “Swords of Iron,” sparked on October 7th, when the Hamas terrorist organization launched a surprise attack by land, air, and sea. After a heavy barrage of several thousand rockets, Hamas terrorists invaded Israeli territory, infiltrating military bases and civilian population centers, where they massacred the inhabitants and took others captive. As of this writing over 1,400 Israelis have been killed, roughly 4,000 in many cases critically injured and at least 220 kidnapped remain in Hamas captivity.

Since the invasion and brutal massacre, the IDF has been striking terror targets in Gaza as their terror organizations continue to fire rockets into Israel. Meanwhile during the second week of the war, Hezbollah and other groups in Lebanon upped their attacks as well, targeting towns and military installations in northern Israel with rockets and anti-tank munitions. IDF forces have responded as needed and many villages and communities have been evacuated. There have been uprisings in Judea & Samaria, Southern Israel remains under attack, missile sirens are sounding in central Israel and today buildings in both Tel Aviv and Ashdod were directly hit. Not surprisingly, while pressure for “humanitarian aid” comes from many sources and anti-Israel and antisemitic rallies grow around the world (and particularly in the U.S.) in volume, Hamas seems to have no shortage of missiles to fire into the homeland.

There’s way too much for us to try to cover here but as we wish you all a Shabbat Shalom and send prayers for strength and safety to all of Israel and the IDF, we ask you to please read and share the below messages from our most dear friends Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar of the Sovereignty Movement on the definition of Victory and Aharon Pulver, of the Israel Independence Fund on living through these nightmarish times. Finally, we highlight an important article and video on Ambassador Gilad Erdan’s address to the UN regarding not caving into Iran, the country that has surrounded Israel with all of its terror proxies.
